Dubai 2013: Australia set to receive first MH-60R

The first two Australian MH-60R helicopters will be formally delivered on 10 December as the AUS$3 billion project to replace the Royal Australian Navy’s (RAN’s) aging Seahawks gains momentum.

Speaking at the Dubai Air Show, George Barton, vice president of business development for Lockheed Martin’s Ship and Aviation Systems Division, said the first of the 24 MH-60Rs ordered by Australia would be delivered in December, ahead of an official roll-out ceremony on 24 January.
