Croatia receives final OH-58Ds from US

Croatia has received the final batch of OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters purchased from excess US defence stock, bolstering its existing fleet of five aircraft received earlier this year.

The Croatian Ministry of Defence announced on 3 December that the remaining 11 reconnaissance and light attack helicopters had been delivered by US Air Force C-5 at the 93rd Air Base in Zemunik.

According to the MoD, the OH-58Ds purchased from the US were manufactured from 2010 to 2012, and saw operational service with the US Army from 2012 to 2015.
