Z-19E helicopter completes firing tests
Aviation Industry Corporation of China’s (AVIC's) Z-19E armed helicopter has completed its firing flight tests, the company announced on 16 May.
The helicopter conducted multiple flight tests with airborne weapons including gun, air-to-air missile, air-to-ground missile and rocket projectile.
The helicopter has also undergone a comprehensive test for the adaptation of the whole model and its fire control system, and passed the verification tests of functions and flight performances.
The Z-19E export-variant helicopter features a tandem cockpit and a narrow body with miniaturised and comprehensive avionic and weapon systems. The aircraft has a maximum take-off weight of 4.25t and can operate in all-weather environments.
