Brazilian Navy ready for weapons

The Brazilian Navy has been undertaking new weapons capability tests on its fleet of Sikorsky S-70B Sea Hawk aircraft.

The aircraft is utilised by the Brazilian Navy's 1st anti-submarine helicopters squadron (HS-1). Tests began in January of this year in relation to the torpedo Mk-46 Mod 5 from the MH-16 (S-70B) which made two launches. This was part of the Aspirantex 2017 operation which involved 2,000 crews, six ships, one submarine and six helicopters.
