Brazil on the attack in two decades time

According to the Brazilian Army, a branch of the armed forces will have to wait until the 2030s before it can operate its attack helicopters, Shephard has learnt.

This is because the Attainment of Attack Capacity Project, one of the seven projects currently managed by the Brazilian Army Aviation (AvEx), is planned to begin in 2031, once new requirements have been established.

The new directive goes in opposition to many recent reports released by various sources about the acquisition of a batch of secondhand Bell AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopters.
