Black Hawks soaring to Saudi Arabia

Sikorsky has received the go ahead from the US Army to supply 17 UH-60M Black Hawk aircraft to Saudi Arabia under a four year contract worth $194 million.

The FMS deal will see eight aircraft bolstering the Saudi Arabian National Guard's fleet and a further nine will be heading to the Royal Saudi Land Forces Airborne Special Forces. The US DoD contract was awarded on 11 January.

The finalisation for delivery has been earmarked for the end of 2022.
