Bell announces FARA development partners
Bell Textron, which has been selected as one of two prototype providers for the US Army’s Future Attack and Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) programme, has confirmed its industry partners.
Team Invictus includes nine other companies, which will work with Bell Textron to develop its prototype: Astronics Corporation, Collins Aerospace, GE Aviation, ITT-Enidine Inc, L3 Harris Technologies, Mecaer Aviation Group, Moog, Parker Lord and TRU Simulation & Training.
Chris Gehler, VP and programme director for FARA at Bell, said: ‘Team Invictus is working together to show how cutting-edge technology will give soldiers the ability to confidently operate in the complex and contested battlespace of multi-domain operations.’
He added: ‘Each team member brings a capability that is vital to the success of the Bell 360 and we are honored to have proven, capable and well-respected industry partners on Team Invictus.’
