Aviall, Bristow sign parts supply agreement
Aviall Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, has reached an agreement to provide a global parts supply program for the helicopter divisions and bases of Bristow Group, a leading global provider of helicopter services.
The agreement gives Bristow access to Aviall’s LIFT (Logistics and Inventory Flight Team) program, thus providing Bristow with consistent and high quality spares support for its operations around the world.
Houston-based Bristow, which has earned an international reputation for safety, speed of response and quality of service, provides helicopter transportation, maintenance, search and rescue, pilot training, and related services to the offshore oil and gas industry as well as other business sectors. It operates in all the major oil and gas producing regions in the world.
Aviall is a leading solutions provider of aftermarket supply chain management services for the aerospace and defense industries. The Dallas-based company is one of the world’s largest providers of new aviation parts and related services with more than 2,000,000 catalog items from 230 suppliers available through 39 customer service centers in North America, Europe, the Middle East, India and Asia-Pacific.
“We appreciate Bristow’s willingness to expand our business relationship. This agreement increases the availability of Aviall’s diverse product offerings to Bristow,” Dan Komnenovich, president and CEO of Aviall, Inc., said. “All of Bristow’s helicopter affiliates worldwide will benefit from our technology and realize increased procurement and production efficiencies. Our LIFT program is designed especially for our helicopter customers.”
The agreement enables Bristow to take advantage of Aviall’s global customer service centers, experienced sales staff, and digital technology-based capabilities. The LIFT program includes forecasting of special, long-lead-time parts, local stocking, and 24/7 access to technical publications.
