AUSA 2017: UH-60V digital cockpit moving to next stage
The US Army initiative for the UH-60V Black Hawk integrated avionics suite is well underway as Northrop Grumman modernises the UH-60L cockpit to the V-Model digital cockpit.
The company is providing a digital avionics solution and is currently in the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase of the programme, which was awarded three years ago.
For EMD, the company is building seven cockpits for five aircraft and the remaining two will be system integration lab assets.
