AUSA 2017: All eyes on Cayuse Warriors next home

With 30 MD Helicopters MD 530F Cayuse Warriors earmarked to be in Kabul by next year, further aircraft are expected to be delivered to other allies under a new umbrella agreement.

On 5 September, the US DoD announced a US$1.4 billion deal for the procurement of an estimated 150 MD 530F helicopters as part of wider FMS opportunities.

A US Army spokesperson confirmed to Shephard that there are prospective FMS customers with regards to the remaining aircraft but at this stage no details can be disclosed.
