AUSA 10: New name for old workhorse

The US Army is designating future Kiowa Warrior upgrades as the OH-58F ‘Fox’ model as it attempts to keep the aging aircraft current before any future Armed Aerial Scout (AAS) is introduced.

At a briefing from the army’s armed scout helicopter programme office during the AUSA Annual Meeting on 26 October, reporters were told of the upgrades being introduced to the ‘highest in-demand aircraft out on the battlefield’.
