AUSA 09: Boeing links Apache to multiple networks in C4ISR On-The-Move demo

In the run up to the Association of the US Army’s annual meeting in Washington DC next week, Boeing has revealed details of its networking activities at this year's C4ISR On The Move event that took place at Fort Dix, New Jersey, from June through September.

The company linked its Block III Apache demonstrator aircraft with vehicles and ground troops in a mobile networking environment that brought together the JTRS Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW), the Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) and the Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (WIN-T), enabling participants to share situational awareness information and live video over Mobile Ad-hoc
