MSPO 2016: Kiowa Warriors bolster Croatian Armed Forces

The sale of ex-US Army OH-58D Kiowa Warriors to international militaries is gaining momentum, with deliveries in Croatia, sightings in Tunisia and an Excess Defense Article (EDA) request put forward by Greece.

The first batch of five of 16 OH-58Ds from the US was received by the Croatian Armed Forces and presented to the 93 Air Base in Zemunik, Croatia on 10 August. In addition to the Kiowa Warriors, three simulators and weapons were also delivered via a C-5. The remaining aircraft are expected to be delivered later this year.
