HeliRussia 2016: Ansat commercial deliveries imminent

The first delivery of the 3.6 tonne Ansat light twin for commercial operations will take place this June or July, to the Moscow-based RVS company. 

The helicopter operator is set to take a central role in the entry-into-service effort of the new Russian twin helicopter produced at Kazan Helicopters.

RVS plans to field an eventual fleet of as many as ten Ansats, operated mainly for VIP transport around Moscow and in the central part of Russia. The company will also establish the first service centre for the type in the country, situated in the outskirts of Moscow.
