Airbus to deliver 20 H145Ms to Hungary
Airbus Helicopters has received an order from the Hungarian Ministry of Defence for 20 H145M military helicopters equipped with the HForce weapon management system, the company announced on 29 June.
The helicopters have been ordered as part of Hungary's Zrinyi 2026 military modernisation programme. The new helicopters will be equipped with a fast roping system, high performance camera, fire support equipment, ballistic protection as well as an electronic countermeasures system.
The HForce system will allow Hungary to equip and operate their aircraft with a large set of ballistic or guided air-to-ground and air-to-air weapons. Along with the helicopters, Airbus will also provide a training and support package.
The helicopter has a maximum take-off weight of 3.7t and can be used for a wide range of tasks including troop transport, utility, surveillance, air rescue, armed reconnaissance and medical evacuation.
