Airborne Services and NHI sign deal for repair services

During the NIDV Defence and Security exhibition in Rotterdam last month, Dutch company Airborne Services signed an agreement for the maintenance of NH90 rotor blades with NATO Helicopter Industries (NHI).

The deal appears to have been brokered by the Dutch ministry of economic affairs and the Netherlands Industries for Defence and Security’s (NIDV) helicopter industrial platform and had already been discussed during the annual NH90 product conference held in Bückeburg, Germany in June.

Addressing concerns voiced by the Dutch government about its industry being behind in receiving workshare, the agreement can be seen as an effort by NHI to increase
