AgustaWestland strengthens Indonesian market ties
AgustaWestland has signed a cooperation agreement with Indonesia’s Indopelita Aircraft Service (IAS) that will see in-country support and maintenance services established for AgustaWestland customers.
The agreement will also serve to sustain future business opportunities in the Indonesian market – both government and parapublic.
AgustaWestland has identified the Indonesian market as a growth area, with nine helicopters sold into the region in recent years, including the AW119, the Grand and GrandNew, and AW139 models.
This agreement will enable the company to further grow its presence in the country, and strengthen its ties with the national industrial base.
IAS offers a comprehensive range of modern maintenance and repair services for both fixed and rotary-winged aircraft comprising engines, airframe, propellers and rotors for government and private operators. The company holds Aircraft Maintenance Organization license approved by Indonesian aviation authority certified under DGCA 145/16800.
