ADECS 2018: RSAF seeks CH-47 simulator (video)
The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) is in need of a CH-47F Chinook simulator to help train its pilots.
The RSAF currently operates six CH-47D and ten CH-47SD Super D Chinooks. The service is pushing for the device to allow collective training to be conducted.
In the running for the simulator are Boeing, CAE and L3 Link. Tender timings are yet to be decided and the in-service date is expected to coincide with the delivery of the F variant.
