Raytheon supporting USAF F-15 radar upgrades
Raytheon on 12 June was awarded a $202.6 million definitive contract for sustainment of the USAF F-15 fleet.
The contract will see the company provide additional support for depot activation in the APG 82(V)1 radar modernisation programme. Services will include the engineering support needed to the depot activation.
FY2018 aircraft procurement funds amounting to $89.93 million were obligated at the time of award by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Centre at Robins AFB, Georgia.
Work is scheduled to be completed by 11 December 2024 and will take place in El Segundo, California, Forest, Mississippi and McKinney, Texas.
