Singapore flies in first H225Ms

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) has taken delivery of its first set of Airbus Helicopters H225Ms, delivered aboard an Antonov An-124 from Marseille, via Mumbai, on 22 March.
Singapore’s Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) signed on for the H225Ms under its Medium-Lift Helicopter programme in 2016, and they were initially planned for a 2020 delivery. However, the process was delayed till this year due to COVID-19-related disruptions.
The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute estimates Singapore is acquiring 16 H225Ms under the contract.
