Boeing receives new support contract for Saudi F-15 conversion programme
Boeing has obtained a $21.67 million FMS contract from the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, to support the F-15S to F-15SA conversion programme for the Royal Saudi Air Force.
Work will primarily be performed in the US at St Louis, for completion by 30 December 2022.
Activities will include program management, ‘reach-back support’ to the US, temporary on-site assistance (if needed) outside the US and ‘round robin repairs’, the DoD announced on 4 January.
Saudi Arabia is acquiring 84 F-15A aircraft from Boeing and the company is also upgrading 70 F-15SA variants (pictured) to the F-154SA configuration.
