Japan likely first export customer for Fire Scout

As Northrop Grumman showcases its MQ-8C Fire Scout at RAF Fairford during the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) in the UK for the first time, the company has indicated that Japan could be its first international customer.

The company said it follows the US Navy when it comes to export customers, so all exports would be under the US Foreign Military Sales framework, and it sees a ‘robust’ market for the MQ-8C.
