AUSA 2013: ST Kinetics secures ammo contracts
ST Kinetics has secured a total of more than $30 million of international orders for its 40mm ammunition.
The company announced at the AUSA exhibition that following a contract from General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems – Canada to supply operational and training 40mm high velocity ammunition for the Canadian Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle programme, it has become one of the leading 40mm suppliers.
‘ST Kinetics’ 40mm HV ammunition, with its insensitive munitions properties and self-destruct feature, were able to meet the stringent requirements of the user for the contract win,’ the company stated.
