IDEX 2015: Savox launches new tactical headgear
A new tactical headgear system will be launched by C3I company, Savox at the IDEX exhibition.
Named THOR (Tactical Headgear system for changing Operational Requirements) the system was developed to meet the demand of its first customer: the Finnish Defence Force (FDF), which has a headgear system requirement under its Future Warrior 2020 programme.
Mikael Westerlund, CSO of Savox Communications told Shephard: 'This initial order is for an undisclosed number of THOR tactical combat headgear systems destined for FDF. These units will go into war material acceptance testing and approval.'
